Production Team & Staff Bios




Mare Trevathan (She/Her) Director

This is Mare's Phamaly debut. She’s a director, writer, actor, aspiring gardener, animal enthusiast, and compulsive upcycler. Among her favorite directing gigs is "Refresh": a collaboration with architect Shubrah Raje and students in Ahmedabad, India creating performances inspired by buildings. Narrator of 850+ audiobooks, Mare teaches VO at the Denver Center. She’s an Associate Artist with Local Theater Company and a board member with IDEA Stages.

Daniel Traylor Assistant Director

Daniel Traylor has been venturing into this side of theatre since assistant directing Chicago under Regan Linton's guidance, and went on to direct The Bad One in PTC's collection of one-acts "Come to Your Senses". He's also been Stacey D’Angelo's assistant director for PTC's Tokyo tour of Honk, the assistant director for Vox Vergere, directed by Betty Hart, and directed a play-reading of Gallows Falls by Braddon Mendelson at Vintage Theatre. He'd like to thank all the people who have helped forge the collaborator he is, and all those who have believed in him.

Samantha Egle (She/Her) Fight Director

This is her 2nd year with Phamaly. Her work has been seen at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Opera Colorado, Asolo Repertory, Fine Arts Center, Theatreworks, Arvada Center, Denver Children’s Theatre, Athena Project Festival, Lagoon Theme Park, Upstart Crow, and numerous others. She is the Founder of Humble Warrior Movement Arts, board member of the IOSP, Certified Intimacy Director with IDC, and a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors.

Vin Ernst (They/Them) Dialect Coach

Vin Ernst is an actor and dialect coach who has been working in and around the Denver metro area for many years. They hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from MSU Denver and they have worked as a voice and dialect coach for all levels of theatre, from educational children's theatre to community and professional productions. They have most recently been working with company's such as Cherry Creek Theatre Company, Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids, and now, Phamaly Theatre Company.

Michelle Schovares Wagley (She/Her) Stage Manager

Michelle Schovaers Wagley (Stage Manager) is thrilled to work with Phamaly again. With a BA in Theatre Studies - Stage Management, some SM credits include: COLORADO - Newsies, Spring Awakening, Blackademics, Five Guys Named Moe (ASM), JAPAN - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hand to God, The Who’s Tommy¸ Two Gentlemen of Verona, TEXAS - Cabaret, CALIFORNIA - Palm Springs Follies, UTAH - Peter Pan, Hamlet, Stadium of Fire. Love to you, Steven!

Hannah Shepard (She/They) ASM

Hannah is a Colorado local, and is incredibly grateful for the various opportunities they have had to live, learn, work, and grow in their hometown arts community. Some of their favorite past credits include Assistant Stage Manager for Chicago and Spring Awakening (Phamaly Theatre Company), Crew Lead ASM for Vox Vergere (Phamaly Theatre Company), Captioner for The Rocky Horror Show (Phamaly Theatre Company) Stage Manager for Indescribable (Phamaly Theatre Company), and Props Apprentice and Indoor Run Crew (Colorado Shakespeare Festival). Hannah lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, ADHD, Dysautonomia, Keratoconus, and mental health conditions.

Megan Wilson (She/Her) Crew Lead

Megan Wilson is pleased to be debuting with the Phamly theatre company! She is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with an emphasis in theatre management. Megan is an advocate for the compassion, collaboration, and community that working in the arts creates and is so excited to be a part of such a wonderful project. Megan is beyond grateful to her mentors Scott Tedmon-Jones and Patrick Konesko who have never stopped encouraging her.

Krista Montoya (She/Her) Scenic Designer

Krista Montoya (Scenic Designer) is always proud to be working with Phamaly Theatre Company! Previous credits include: Scenic Designer and Properties Coordinator for Theatreworks Colorado Springs' Steel Magnolias; Properties Design for Phamaly Theatre Company's Spring AwakeningVox Verger, The Rocky Horror Show, and Alice in Wonderland; Production Design for Local Theatre Company's UNDONE: The Lady M Project; Properties Design for Curious Theatre Company's Truth Be Told and Alma; Properties Head for The Stomp Company Tour; Associate Set Decorator with Walt Disney Imagineering, Property Shop Supervisor for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (2015 & 2023), and Scenic Designer for Intimate Apparel at the University of Northern Colorado.

Emily Maddox (She/Her) Lighting Designer

This is Emily’s 3rd production with Phamaly. Her previous PTC designs include Spring Awakening, & Vox Vergere. Her recent designs include Anon(ymous) (University of Colorado Boulder), The Last Session (Town Hall Arts Center),& Cabaret (Vintage Theatre). Emily was the recipient of a 2023 Henry Award for The Royale (Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado) and a 2023 Onstage Colorado Award for Sondheim on Sondheim (Cherry Creek Theatre).

Alexandra Ligh (She/Her) Costume Designer

Alexandra is excited to make her debut with Phamaly! Since moving to Colorado in 2022, she has worked in wardrobe with Colorado Shakespeare Festival and BETC. Her previous design credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Mary Moody Northern Theatre) and Pipeline (Spectrum Theatre Company). Alexandra would like to thank her friends, family, and boyfriend for their continued support.

CeCe Smith (She/Her) Sound Designer

CeCe is a sound designer based in Denver, CO. Her recent Sound Design Projects include Taming of the Shrew (Theatreworks,) BI-PASSING (Insight Theatre Collab,) Company (CU Boulder,) and The Rocky Horror Show (Phamaly Theatre Company). CeCe received her first Henry Award for The Royale (BETC) in 2023 and has worked across the nation. When she isn’t working on theatre (which she always is) she is reading comics or watching movies like the introvert she is.

Jaime McNear (she/her) - Props Designer

Jaime is a Denver-raised costume, paint and props enthusiast who got into live theatre for the life-sized dolls and stayed for the camaraderie and teamwork. A smattering of her recent design works include The Vibrator Play with Fearless Theatre, Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World with Central City Opera, and Willy Wonka Jr. with Northglenn Youth Theatre. Most recently, she costume-designed Spring Awakening with Phamaly.

Topher Blair (He/Him) Projections Designer

This will be Topher’s second time working with Phamaly after designing projections for Annie in 2017. More recently, he has designed projections for the Boulder Opera’s production of The Magic Flute, as well as the Aurora Fox’s productions of Queens Girl in the World and The Jedi Handbook. He currently works as a graphic artist at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. His work can be seen on his website,

Jareth J. Charles (He/Him) Graphic Designer

Jareth JCharles is a local Denver artist who works at Access Gallery. He has been writing and creating his own characters since his teens. He published and illustrated a book titled "The Feelings Book" that helps children with autism describe their emotions. He has illustrated two books available for purchase at Access Gallery titled "The Purple Lion" written by Rebecca Petty and "Cuco's Cart" written by Tony Catanese.

Annie Sand (She/They) Captions

Annie Sand (she/they) - (Captions) Annie is overjoyed to be joining Phamaly Theatre Company in their 35th season. This is Annie's fourth show working with Phamaly, but her first working in crew. While she was most recently seen as Destiny in Indescribable (Phamaly), she relishes the opportunity to step off the stage and continue the mission of making theater accessible in a new way.

Kate Warner (She/Her) A1

This is Kate's 4th production with Phamaly. She's a sound engineer, podcast editor, and music producer/performer from Denver. She's happy to be back and would like to thank Phamaly Theater Company.

Mickey Burdick (He/Him) Assistant Scenic Designer

This is Mickey’s debut with Phamaly! Mickey is currently the technical director for the UCCS Theatre & Dance program, and lecturer in Set Design, Scenic Painting, and Acting I. He received his BFA in theater from the University of Arizona, and MBA from Colorado State University. Prior to joining UCCS, he served as technical director for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. Special thanks to Rebecca and Hazel.

Arden Phanes (they/them/Ze/Zir) Wardrobe Assistant

This is Arden’s very first time working with Phamaly and they couldn’t be more thrilled! Arden grew up doing community theatre in North Carolina and went on to receive their BA in Theatre at UNCG, class of 2018. After they graduated they took a hiatus from theatre due to a certain life-altering pandemic. Since moving to Colorado, Arden has dipped back into the thriving community theatre scene here and worked with Wheat Ridge Theatre Company by stage managing Ideation and Triumph of Love. Arden is diagnosed with ADHD and autism. They’re thankful and excited for you to see this production!




Corinne Denny (she/her) – Managing Director

Corinne is an arts administrator, vocal coach, and opera stage director dedicated to bringing equity to the arts and advocating for performers. Prior to working at Phamaly, she served as the Executive Director for the Arapahoe Philharmonic, bringing a renewed focus on artistic excellence to the company. Corinne founded and served as the Executive Artistic Director of Denver Immersive Opera, a company dedicated to supporting female identifying and LGBTQAI+ artists while creating immersive operatic productions that resonate with modern audiences. She has also served as the Production Manager for Boulder Opera Company and Company Manager for Boulder Music Institute. Corinne holds a Performer’s Certificate in Voice from the University of Denver, a dual MM in Opera and Musical Theatre Performance from Arizona State University, and a BM in Voice Performance with a minor in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University. Corinne lives with anxiety and depression.

Ben Raanan (he/him) – Artistic Director

Ben is the Artistic Director at Phamaly Theatre Company. Ben is a disabled director whose work focuses on producing artistically rigorous theatre with, for, and about the disabled community. His favorite directing credits include: Spring Awakening (Phamaly Theatre Company), The Spitfire Grill (Phamaly Theatre Company), Mockingbird (Falcon Theatre), Antigone: born against, The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love Suicide, Crumble: Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake, Love & Information (Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati), Falling (DePaul).

Erin Banta (she/her) – Operations Manager

Erin is a Denver-based theatrical artist always searching for the next creative opportunity. By day she navigates the creation of stigma abolishing theatre with Phamaly Theatre Company, on staff since 2019, proudly working as the Operations Manager. By night she is trying to find time for everything else: performance, podcasting, costuming, design, directing, and learning to cook better than your mother can. Every day she is thankful for her supportive circle and partner in crime, Jeremy Althoff. Erin lives with Hashimoto’s Disease, Fibromyalgia, and Anxiety.

Annie Jacobs (she/her) – Technical Production Manager

Annie joined Phamaly in December of 2019. She moved to Denver from Connecticut where she had been the Director of Production at ACT of Connecticut. Prior to that, she had spent over a decade production managing in New York theatres, including APAC, Queens Theatre, and Prospect Theatre Company. Her time in New York also included working at Showman Fabricators. While there, her projects included Broadway's Sweeney Todd, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Disney World's American Idol Experience and NBC's The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. Annie is an alumnus from the Theatre School at DePaul University and the School of Drama at Yale University.

Lauren Lynch-Eidson (she/her) – Marketing & Communications Manager

Lauren (she/her) hails from Clarksville, TN and earned an MFA in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. She has had a passion for accessibility in the arts for many years, spending three+ years volunteering in-person and virtually for A.B.L.E. Ensemble, a Chicago-based theatre for, with, and by individuals with developmental disabilities, and volunteering at Phamaly before becoming a full-time employee. Lauren is also an Adjunct Professor in Arts and Culture Management at The University of Denver, and a newly published playwright. Previously, she had the privilege of working at Wonderbound Ballet, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center among others. When she's not at work, you can find her playing board games, singing with the Denver Women’s Chorus, or stealing cuddles from her dog, Harry Pupper, and her husband, Eric. She lives with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depressive Disorder.

AJ Watson (He/Him) – Production Accessibility Manager

AJ is very excited to be entering his first year with Phamaly.  Originally from the east coast and earning his chops in the world of film and television, serendipity brought him to the company after walking down the street, newly arrived in Denver and deciding to go to a performance of Alice in Wonderland presented by Phamaly!  From there he volunteered backstage for Vox Vergere and then A2’d for Spring Awakening.
