Erin Banta
Administrative Assistant
Erin is a Denver-based theatre artist who is devoted to using the stage as a vehicle for education, connection, and entertainment. She has a unique theatre career devoting her time to the stage as a performer, educator, costume artist, arts administrator, and advocate! Erin’s career with Phamaly Theatre Company began as a backstage technician, but a few years and a couple of degrees later, she now has the opportunity to work as Phamaly’s Administrative Assistant. By any means necessary, Erin will be making theatre today, tomorrow, and forever.
Thomas Berning
Sound Designer
Thomas has dabbled in acting, magic, music, and visual art. He has enjoyed working on several Phamaly productions throughout the years and is excited to see the curtain rise once again. In addition to his role as Sound Designer for Alice In Wonderland, Thomas is the Head of Audio for Opera Colorado and Technical Director for Cinema Verde Environmental Film Festival.
Jack Holm
Accessibility Intern
Jack Holm is a rapper and music producer who is working with Phamaly as their accessibility intern. He also is a Junior at the University of Northern Colorado studying music & music engineering. This is his first show at Phamaly, but has done some theatre in elementary school called Thirteen Towers. Thank you for letting me join the Phamaly family.
Sasha Hutchings
Managing Director
Sasha is thrilled to have been with Phamaly since 2018. She has devoted her career to the nonprofit and public service sectors because people and their stories are her passion. She has worked extensively with marginalized communities, survivors of interpersonal violence, and at-risk youth and their families, striving to empower and give voice to those who are so often silenced. Sasha’s career has included being the Director of the Denver Victim Services and Advocacy Network at the Denver District Attorney’s Office; the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center; the Assistant Director of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust; teaching at an inner-city school in Boston, Massachusetts; and working at the Edwin F. Mandel Legal Aid Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. She received her master’s degree from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University. When Sasha is not working, she can be found enjoying Colorado, spending gratuitous time in bookstores, laughing, or hanging out with her furry friends.
David Jacobi
Playwright
David’s plays have been performed and developed at Sideshow Theatre, Ojai Playwrights Conference, JAW, Denver Center, RISK IS THIS, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Kennedy Center MFA Playwright’s Workshop, SLC Playwrights Lab and PlayPenn. He is a winner of the Holland New Voices Award, Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Audiences Award, and Relentless Award semifinalist. David's play Ready Steady Yeti Go received a Rolling World Premiere through NNPN. David was the 2015 Shank Fellow at Pig Iron Theatre Company and is currently an Interact Core Writer and commissioned by EST/Sloan and South Coast Rep. He received a BFA in Dramatic Writing from Purchase College and an MFA from UC San Diego.
Annie Jacobs
Technical Production Manager
Annie joined Phamaly in December of 2019. She moved to Denver from Connecticut where she had been the Director of Production at ACT of Connecticut. Prior to that, she had spent over a decade production managing in New York theatres, including APAC, Queens Theatre, and Prospect Theatre Company. Her time in New York also included working at Showman Fabricators. While there, her projects included Broadway's Sweeney Todd, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Disney World's American Idol Experience and NBC's The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. Annie is an alumnus from the Theatre School at DePaul University and the School of Drama at Yale University.

Regan Linton
Director
Regan is a director, actor, writer, teacher, and former artistic director of Phamaly. Directing credits include: Chicago, Annie, Romeo and Juliet (workshop), and Rewrite! with Phamaly, as well as Athena Project, the Hollywood Fringe, and Roundabout Theatre’s Reverb Festival (NY). Regan is also a professional actor, with credits including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, Mixed Blood (MN), Denver Center for the Performing Arts Off-Center, Pasadena Playhouse, The Apothetae (NY), and Phamaly. She has created numerous theatre, film, and web projects, and current works in progress/development include the upcoming feature documentary (im)perfect (2021) and The Children’s Hour: An Adult Civics Cabaret Hosted by FDR. She is a regular columnist for New Mobility Magazine, and is a nationally-recognized advocate and consultant for creative leadership and inclusive practices in the arts. Locally, Regan has served on the Community ACTS Fund Advisory Council, Art of Access, IDEA Stages startup team, and the boards of Craig Hospital and Phamaly. She was recently honored with the 2021 Denver Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award and 2017 True West Award for Colorado Theatre Person of the Year. She holds an MFA from UC San Diego, MSW from University of Denver, and a BA from University of Southern California. reganlinton.com
Zach Madison
Assistant Stage Manager
Zach’s work with Phamaly includes: Into the Woods, Romeo and Juliet, Vox: Under Construction, Annie, James and the Giant Peach, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors. His other Colorado credits include: DCPA (Twenty50, Twelfth Night, Bite-Size, Colorado New Play Summit); Aurora Fox (Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure); Mizel Arts and Cultural Center (The Little Prince, Legally Blonde, Heathers, Taming of the Shrew); Colorado Railroad Museum (The Polar Express); Stage 33 Productions (Recent Tragic Events), and Ellis & Fortmiller Productions (The Trespassers, The Phoenix).
Outside the Stage Manager’s booth, Zach can be found running a Dungeons & Dragons game, or practicing his stage combat skills at the Denver Historical Fencing Academy.
Stephen D. Mazzeno
Lighting Designer
Stephen has been Lighting shows for Phamaly for the last 20 years. His recent productions include Evita, Into the Woods, Cabaret, Annie, and Chicago. He won the Henry Award for Lighting for Phamaly’s production of Urine Town. He is also a scenic designer who’s recent design work has included La Fancula del West (lighting and scenic) as well as Falstaff, both for Opera Colorado.
Claire Mezzetta
Costume Designer
Born and raised in Southern California, Claire received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of Arts. She has worked at Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach Opera, International City Theater, Arizona Broadway Theatre, assisted designed for music videos, and dabbled in Film. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, and works at the Arizona Opera as Asst. Wardrobe Supervisor and Stitcher II. Special thanks to her family in California and Arizona; the Pedersen boys and their families for hosting her to be with Phamaly Theatre, and Savana Stevens-Leveille.
Madeline Miller
Lighting Intern
Madeline is so excited to be a part of Alice in Wonderland as a Lighting Intern! This is her second show with Phamaly, following Chicago (2019). She recently graduated Cherry Creek High School, where she worked on numerous shows as lighting designer. Selected CCHS credits include Silent Sky (2021), Songs for a New World (2021), and Harvey (2019). She will be attending Carnegie Mellon University in the fall pursuing a BFA in Design and Production.
Krista Montoya
Props Designer
Krista Montoya spent the last five and a half years as an Associate Set Decorator with Walt Disney Imagineering at Walt Disney World in Florida. Before becoming an Imagineer, she worked as the Prop Shop Supervisor at The Colorado Shakespeare Festival in 2015. She graduated with her BA in Design and Technology for the Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado, with an emphasis in Props, Scenic Design, and Scenic Painting. She is honored to be working with Phamaly Theatre Company on her first show back in theatre and looks forward to rejoining the arts community in her home state of Colorado.
Ben Raanan
Artistic Director
Ben (he/him) is the new Artistic Director at Phamaly Theatre Company. Ben is a disabled director whose work focuses on producing artistically rigorous theatre with, for, and about the disabled community. His favorite directing credits include: Mockingbird (Falcon Theatre), Antigone: born against, The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love Suicide, Crumble: Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake, Love & Information (Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati), Falling (DePaul). A special thank you to Sasha, Annie, Erin, Darion and Regan for their continual guidance and hard work as we navigate this post-pandemic world.
Darion Ramos
Stage Manager | Company Production Manager
Darion is Phamaly’s Company Production Manager and has been with Phamaly for five years in various capacities. Her previous stage management credits at Phamaly include: James and the Giant Peach, Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, Pygmalion, Romeo & Juliet, Harvey, Morph Masters, Phamaly’s 30th Anniversary Concert, Chicago, and HONK! The Musical. She has also worked at Colorado Shakespeare Festival and The Lake Dillon Theatre Company as an assistant stage manager. She lives with major depression and anxiety.
Nicholas Renaud
Scenic Designer
Nicholas is proud to be working again with Phamaly on this world premiere production. Previous credits include Chicago, Honk! The Musical (Phamaly); This is Modern Art, SantaLand Diaries, Lived/Re-Lived (Off Center, DCPA), MilkMilkLemonade (Shrewd Production, Austin Tx, B. Iden Payne Nom.) Nicholas is currently a resident scenic design assistant with the DCPA Theatre Company where he has assisted over 50 productions. He received his BFA from Emerson College, Boston, MA. Michelle Rocqet
Music Director | Composer
Michelle is a Denver-based singer-songwriter, beatboxer, producer, and educator who rose through the ranks of the local DIY scene with her bandmates of The Milk Blossoms. They’ve been called “one of Denver’s most innovative bands” (303 Magazine), “gut-wrenching” (Westword), and “an amalgam of outsider pop” (Queen City Sounds). She released her debut single “Interview” last spring. Westword described the song as “is a yearning R&B love song that showcases the breadth of her skills as a vocalist — from breathy torch singer to dramatic diva.”
She holds a B.S. in Music Entertainment and Industry Studies with a double concentration in Recording Arts and Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado Denver. She is unbelievably honored to be joining the legacy that is Phamaly for the very first time with this production of Alice.
Bashir Muhammad
Movement Curator
Bashir Page-Sanders, from Baltimore, MD, began his classical dance training at the Community College of Baltimore County-Essex Campus and went on to pursue his degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. He has also studied at Morton Street Dance Center, The Ailey School, and PHILADANCO. Bashir has danced professionally with PHILADANCO 2nd Company, Genesis Dance Company, Keen Dance Theatre, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble. He now is a full-time dance teacher and choreographer and has his own company called NU-World Contemporary Danse Theatre.
Jane Stewart
Assistant Stage Manager
Jane is excited and honored to return for her fourth summer with Phamaly Theatre Company! Past Phamaly Credits include: Come to Your Senses, Stage Manager; Chicago, Assistant Stage Manager and Scenic Painter; Into the Woods, Assistant Stage Manager and Scenic Painter; Annie, Assistant Stage Manager, and Fuddy Meers, Run Crew. Jane is an MSU Denver graduate and has spent the last few years working as a Stage Manager in the Denver Area with companies like The Aurora Fox Arts Center and, most recently, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center. “I would like to thank my family and my cat (in no particular order) for their love and support.”
