PRODUCTION BIOS

 

Sam Charney (They/Them) – Costumer Designer

This is Sam’s 2nd production with Phamaly. Sam has been studying theater and art since 6th grade and is now going into their senior year. Past credits include Midsummer Night's Dream (Peaseblossom/Helena u/s), Kinky Boots (Makeup Designer), She Kills Monsters (Makeup Designer), The Little Mermaid (Windward), Macbeth (Witches), Our Town (Wally Webb). Sam would like to thank their parents for all of the late nights running to and from rehearsals and their theater mentors for helping Sam grow as an artist and a person. Sam lives with a complicated mental health.

 

Michelle Dunleavy (She/Her) – Guest Artist

This is Michele’s debut with Phamaly. Michele is visiting from State College, Pennsylvania where she teaches dance in Penn State University’s musical theatre program and choreographs for Penn State Centre Stage. Favorite productions include Mountain Language, Everybody, Rent, and American Idiot. Michele also serves on the board of the Centre Region Down Syndrome Society and is Artistic Director of Dunleavy Dance Projects. Claire Hayes (She/Her) – Accommodations Specialist

Claire Hayes (Accommodations Specialist) Claire is delighted to be back again with Phamaly! She has enjoyed working with the Phamaly actors and learning from Lynn and the Silhouettes. She would like to thank Annie, Hannah, AJ, Michele, Twanna, and Lynn for their work and artistry. Please enjoy Indescribable!

 

Twanna LaTrice Hill (she/her) - Director

Twanna has been acting and writing since age 5. She first acted with PHAMALY in “Beauty & the Beast” in 2010 and favorites include “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Taking Leave.” She was thrilled to showcase her playwriting chops with “Love Multiplied” in Vox Vergere, and even more thrilled to showcase them with Indescribable, as well as her directing chops. With degrees from Princeton, Harvard, & Regis Universities, she resides in Denver with her service dog, Roxi. Twanna lives with Lupus, Degenerative Disc Disease, Chronic Pain Syndrome, CPTSD, and DID.

 

Kathryn Jonas (She/Her) – Crew Lead

This is the third show Jonas has participated in as a volunteer with Phamaly and she is thrilled to work with such an amazing cast and crew. Her previous shows include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Jonas has previous experience in sound engineering and backstage crew for community radio stations and university theater. Jonas would like to thank everyone who supports The Phamaly Theater Company.

 

Hannah Shepard (she/her) – Stage Manager

Hannah attended Denver School of the Arts where she majored in Stagecraft and Design and is incredibly grateful for the various opportunities she has had to live, learn, work, and grow in her hometown theatre community over the last decade. She has enjoyed working with Phamaly Theatre Company in the past as an Assistant Stage Manager for their 2019 production of 'Chicago', as well as assisting with other projects and productions on occasion. Hannah lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, ADHD, Dysautonomia, Keratoconus, and mental health conditions.

 

Lynne Waggoner-Patton (she/her) – Director/Choreographer

Lynne is the Creator, Owner, Director and Choreographer for The Silhouettes, 1st Runner-up on America’s Got Talent Season 6, Golden Buzzer Winner on America’s Got Talent The Champions and currently a residency act in AGT Las Vegas Live at the Luxor.  She is a business owner of 30 years, performing artist, producer, motivational speaker, choreographer, singer, songwriter, actor, scriptwriter music & video editor and performing arts instructor. Lynne is an avid supporter of underprivileged children and travels the United States spreading the message of “The Power Of Yes” to inspire children of all ages to step out of the shadows and into the light. Lynne’s credits include: America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer Act, Nickelodeon “See Dad Run”, Netflix “MC2”, NBC’s Holiday Spectacular, 24 Hour Television Nippon TV, “Words On Paper” Egyptian television, Lenovo Yoga Laptop Commercial, music videos “Awake” with recording artist Ryan Sheridan, and a four-month 73-theatre European tour with original show “Journey Of Love” to name a few.  Corporate performances include Microsoft, Boeing Aerospace, Spring/LG/Samsung,  Prudential Insurance, Phillips 66, Conoco, 76, Remax, LPL Financial, Association of Critical Care Nurses, London International Awards and more. She and her cast are featured in the documentary film “The Shadow Between Us” slated for world-premiers at 2022 film festivals.  Lynne and her cast have helped raise millions for children in need and Veterans with PTSD through their performances on Muscular Dystrophy Show of Strength, Ometz Foundation in Montreal Canada, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes, Children’s Cancer Research and many more. Her original 90 -minute shows include “Journey Of Love”, “The Gift”, “ LOVE HAPPENS”’, “Shadowspook”, “Heroes Tribute”, “Behind The Curtain”, “The Light Of Christmas”, “Indescribable” and “For The Child”.  Lynne’s greatest love is to share inspirational stories to worldwide audiences that inspire hope, inspiration and belief in a better future.  She is married to her husband Jack, a retired firefighter of 42 years, and loves spending time with her two rescue dogs Sadie Lady and Foxy Lady.

 

Chevelier Wiggins (He/Him) – A1

Chevelier Wiggins has been an audio artisan for six years, supporting productions across the state of Colorado. He loves what he does, each project bringing new and exciting experiences that shape his view of life. A favorite productions he has worked on was for the musical "Something Rotten" by Karey Kirkpatrick and "Wayne" at the Longmont Theater Company. Chevelier specializes as a FOH mixer, however, he is always super excited to support a production crew.

 

 

STAFF BIOS

 

Corinne Denny (she/her) – Managing Director

Corinne is known for creating and managing innovative arts experiences. For the past several years, she served as the Executive Director for the Arapahoe Philharmonic, bringing a renewed focus on artistic excellence to the company and establishing exciting collaborations with local businesses and fellow arts organizations. Prior to the pandemic, Corinne was the Executive Artistic Director of Denver Immersive Opera, a company dedicated to supporting female identifying and LGBTQAI+ artists while creating immersive operatic productions that resonate with modern audiences. She has also served as the Production Manager for Boulder Opera Company, Company Manager for Boulder Music Institute, and spent five years working in wealth management. As a stage director, she has created productions for Denver Immersive Opera, Denver Opera Collective, Boulder Opera Company, and Opera on Tap. Corinne holds a Performer’s Certificate in Voice from the University of Denver, a dual MM in Opera and Musical Theatre Performance from Arizona State University, and a BM in Voice Performance from Middle Tennessee State University.

 

Ben Raanan (he/him) – Artistic Director

Ben is the Artistic Director at Phamaly Theatre Company. Ben is a disabled director whose work focuses on producing artistically rigorous theatre with, for, and about the disabled community. His favorite directing credits include: Spring Awakening (Phamaly Theatre Company), The Spitfire Grill (Phamaly Theatre Company), Mockingbird (Falcon Theatre), Antigone: born against, The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love Suicide, Crumble: Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake, Love & Information (Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati), Falling (DePaul).

 

Erin Banta (she/her) – Operations Manager

Erin is a Denver-based theatrical artist always searching for the next creative opportunity. By day she navigates the creation of stigma abolishing theatre with Phamaly Theatre Company, on staff since 2019, proudly working as the Operations Manager. By night she is trying to find time for everything else: performance, podcasting, costuming, design, directing, and learning to cook better than your mama can. Every day she is thankful for her supportive circle and partner in crime, Jeremy Althoff. Erin lives with Hashimoto’s Disease, Fibromyalgia, and Anxiety.

 

Annie Jacobs (she/her) – Technical Production Manager

Annie joined Phamaly in December of 2019. She moved to Denver from Connecticut where she had been the Director of Production at ACT of Connecticut. Prior to that, she had spent over a decade production managing in New York theatres, including APAC, Queens Theatre, and Prospect Theatre Company. Her time in New York also included working at Showman Fabricators. While there, her projects included Broadway's Sweeney Todd, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Disney World's American Idol Experience and NBC's The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. Annie is an alumnus from the Theatre School at DePaul University and the School of Drama at Yale University.

 

Lauren Lynch-Eidson (she/her) – Marketing & Communications Manager

Lauren (she/her) hails from Clarksville, TN and earned an MFA in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. She has had a passion for accessibility in the arts for many years, spending three+ years volunteering in-person and virtually for A.B.L.E. Ensemble, a Chicago-based theatre for, with, and by individuals with developmental disabilities, and volunteering at Phamaly before becoming a full-time employee. Lauren is also an Adjunct Professor in Arts and Culture Management at The University of Denver, and a newly published playwright. Previously, she had the privilege of working at Wonderbound Ballet, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center among others. When she's not at work, you can find her playing board games, singing with the Denver Women’s Chorus, or stealing cuddles from her dog, Harry Pupper, and her husband, Eric. She lives with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depressive Disorder.

 

AJ Watson (He/Him) – Production Accessibility Manager

AJ is very excited to be entering his first year with Phamaly.  Originally from the east coast and earning his chops in the world of film and television, serendipity brought him to the company after walking down the street, newly arrived in Denver and deciding to go to a performance of Alice in Wonderland presented by Phamaly!  From there he volunteered backstage for Vox Vergere and then A2’d for Spring Awakening.
